Dear Dan,
I
happened to come across your music library page while performing
a search on learning to play the drums. I am a 27 year old singer/songwriter/guitar
player who wants to expand his music abilities. I'd just like to
thank you and let you know (all though I'm sure you know already)
that your doing a great service to the kids, young adults, and older
folks who lack musical ability only because they've no one to teach
them. Your price is very reasonable for what the sight offers. Now
if you'll excuse me, I've got to go piss off the neighbors. Thanks
again!

Dear
Dan,
I
am a guitar player and I can usually pick stuff up by ear off a
record, but there is always one chord I can't get, or one voicing
that eludes me. Your website is the coolest thing I've come across.
When I couldn't figure out the tuning for The Rain Song, I got ideas
at your site. When I wanted the challenge of learning Michael Hedges'
stuff, I clicked my way here for Bensusan. Thanks for all your great
work.
Sincerely,
Dan

Dear Dan:
I sooooooooo appreciate what your doing here.
I bet there are literally thousands of young piano players like
myself,
that would love to
see more piano content, (i.e. video, licks, riffs etc.)
I am a paying customer, ($10 for such a wonderful resource) and
would
like to say that
this has made the web fun and educational for those of us wanting
to be
a great musician someday.
Thanks,
B.Froehling

I just think it's pretty kick-ass that you're presenting this site.
I've
been looking so many places and talking to so many people trying
to find
someone that can show me all of the chords I need to know, and here
it is
on the net for free!!!!! (I should've thought of this a long time
ago). My
praises to you guys for working on this and not being stingy bastards
with
the information like many others try to be.
Sincerely,
Jason Bee

Dear
Dan
First
and foremost I have to say that I was very impressed with your lyrics
archive, and you can not believe how grateful. I have been
keeping a list of what I believe are the best songs ever recorded
for several years now, and I not only want to own all those songs
(nearly 400 by now), but I also want to know who originally wrote
them, and I want to have the lyrics of all those songs, which is
the
reason for my gratitude regarding your site.
Thanks once again,
Sincerely

What

taken forever to build it!
Why is it free??? I feel like I should send you some money; should
I???
Thanks

Dear
Dan, (July, 2002)
I am so appreciative of your quick response to my email. As for
feed back. Yes your library has been very helpful to me. I personally
prefer your teaching methods over the others. You do have some talented
young men giving lessons, but you seem to take more time and explain
things a lot clearer. I am very happy with the library. I am learning
many things I never learned as a kid. Mostly using the video song
library. I like the midi library also. I get a kick out of playing
with the songs. Almost makes me feel like I am back with my band.
I was looking forward to the 20 minutes lessons but I can't view
them because of the mpeg files. My connection is dialup so.. I was
a little disappointed that I couldn't view them. Many of things
that interest me are on mpeg. The theory was of great interest to
me. Still all in all I 've been able to pick up alot of techniques
I didn't know before. And I am learning a few new songs. I think
your site is great. I have told many of my friends about your site
. I wake up in the morning and pick up the guitar like I did as
a young girl. It's like I can't get enough of it. Your site has
awakened my love for the guitar again. I never thought I see the
day when I would be finger picking..or studying scales. I have always
known my chords and I played lead guitar , but it was all by ear.
Now when I play a walk up or walk down , I now know the name of
what I am doing. I think what you are doing is great. There are
so many kids out there who are talented but can not afford lessons,
now with your site they will have the opportunity to learn the basics
and more..more ..more. God Bless you. You are a natural teacher..
and a very talented on at that. By the way I have listened to your
flute music.. and you are fabulous. I like your smiling face as
you teach. Your little laughter in between is welcoming. It shows
you enjoy what you are doing, and makes the student feel at ease.
Sincerely Eliz. Plunkett
